Yes. Haflinger footwear is well-made and absolutely worth repairing. We’ve restored many pairs of Haflinger clogs and slippers by replacing worn soles, refreshing footbeds, and extending their usable life. While some manufacturers imply replacement is the only option, quality footwear like Haflingers is often far more economical—and comfortable—to repair.
A properly installed replacement sole can add years of additional wear. We use lightweight, flexible, and durable materials that maintain the comfort Haflinger is known for, rather than stiff or overly rigid soles. Many customers report that their repaired Haflingers feel better than before, especially once uneven wear has been corrected.
Yes. We resole footwear for customers across the country, including here in western Oregon where we receive over 50 inches of rain annually. If our adhesives failed in wet conditions, we wouldn’t be in business. When properly applied, the bond is extremely durable and designed for everyday wear.

However, if the cork is excessively cracked, brittle, or crumbling, it may be beyond what we can reasonably repair. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us and/ or send us photos of the slippers in question.
Absolutely. In fact, many customers say their repaired Haflingers feel more comfortable than before. Resoling and footbed work often corrects uneven wear, bringing the sole and heel back into proper alignment—similar to how they felt when new.
